Who are the Mission Viejo Kiwanis? Well, if you look around, you'll see that our club members are everywhere! You will find Mission Viejo Kiwanis Club members working at your local library, at your child's school, at your favorite grocery store, or even at your dentist's office. Mission Viejo Kiwanis Club members share a common interest in wanting to improve the lives of children by giving their time and talent to their community. Mission Viejo Kiwanis Club members also share a common bond in their desire to change the world - for the better - one child and one community at a time.
The Mission Viejo Kiwanis Club, through its annual fund raisers and volunteer projects, supports the following local non-profit organizations: Friends of the Mission Viejo Library; Vocational Visions; South County Outreach; and CHOC at Mission Hospital. In addition, the club awards six scholarships each year to local high school and ROP seniors. These scholarships are awarded based upon a student's citizenship and community service, in addition to academics.
If you are looking for an opportunity to make new and enduring friendships, and, want to participate in "hands-on activities" that truly give back to your community (such as volunteering at the South County Outreach Food Bank, or the annual Taste of Saddleback Valley); then, we invite you to join our club! We look forward to meeting you!
